The 4North Project is a grassroots ecotourism-centric nonprofit that combines volunteer travel with social impact in the Dominican Republic. Travel, tour, meet friends, educate, and make a difference on an unforgettable journey.
Founded on the belief that lasting change begins with collaboration, we focus on creating educational, environmental, and economic opportunities that uplift individuals and families in the northern regions of the Dominican Republic and beyond. Through strategic partnerships, community-driven solutions, and hands-on volunteer opportunities, The 4North Project works to address key challenges such as access to quality education, clean water, and economic development.
By fostering resilience and self-sufficiency, we aim to create long-term, positive impacts that elevate the lives of those we serve and promote a more equitable future for all.
Offered as an volunteer package add-on, DarAgua is The 4North Project's first clean water initiative. With our journey beginning on World Water day as a partnership with Lead Health, this drinkable water is produced and bottled in Bani, Dominican Republic. Delivering our clean water supports schools, medical clinics, and households in need.
